About Us
Fields of Clover is the website of Marianne and Helen Bradman, a mother and daughter team.
A love of glass originated from a weekend leadlight workshop that we both attended in mid 2001.
Since that original workshop, Marianne has branched out into stained glass mosaics and is a lifetime member of the Mosaic Association of Australia, having participated in their exhibitions in Melbourne.
Wishing to explore more areas of glass art, Marianne attended a fusing and slumping workshop in Melbourne and also lampwork bead classes. The natural progression from here was the purchase of a kiln to fire glass, beads and generally experiment.
Dichroic glass frequently features in Marianne's fused glass jewellery as the effects are stunning.
Marianne has lived in country Victoria for over eight years and cannot ever image living in a large city again. The beauty of the countryside is truly inspiring.
Helen is currently studying genetics at Melbourne University and CSIRO Hobart. As a result, Helen cannot spend as much time on her art work as she would like.
Helen has always been fascinated by cartoons, particularly anime, whose style she loves. This led Helen to experimenting with pixel art, spending hours at her computer turning pixels into pretty pictures.
Helen recently started jewellery making. With a profound love of colour, Helen loves experimenting with bead combinations.
Helen has been cross stitching since primary school years. She has found great satisfaction in designing her own cross stitch projects which she designs using pixel art.
Fields of Clover has been created by Helen, who set a goal of having a website up and running by the end of 2006.
